Tim Kelleher has been practicing law since 1971. He received his undergraduate degree in agricultural economics from U.C. Davis in 1968, graduating with Highest Honors. Tim received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley in 1971, graduating Order of the Coif. After spending his first year following graduation in PG&E’s law department in San Francisco, he moved to Chico. Born and raised in nearby Biggs, California where his father and grandfather farmed rice, he both continued the family’s rice farming operation and opened his law practice, working mostly with farmers. In 1995, Tim and Elizabeth Olivera became partners, Tim having his office in Chico while Elizabeth maintained an office in Colusa. In 1999, Tim moved his office to Yuba City, where he now continues to practice.

Tim concentrates on advising clients on farm business and estate planning matters. He also continues to be active in rice industry matters, in 2015 receiving the California Rice Industry Award. He also had the privilege of serving two terms on the Federal Crop Insurance Board of Directors.

James M. Gallagher

James Gallagher has been practicing law since 2007. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduation, he worked for state Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa as a fellow in the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program. After completing his fellowship, he went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis, graduating in the top of his class.

James concentrates on agricultural business law, including corporate and real property transactions, administrative law, farm programs, and estate planning. James served on the Sutter County Board of Supervisors for six years and currently serves in the California State Assembly representing the Sacramento Valley.

PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Alan Hudson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Upon graduation, Alan joined a law firm based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he worked as an estate planning and transactional attorney. Alan’s practice encompasses estate planning, wealth preservation and a broad range of complex business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and organization, business operations, succession planning and tax optimization.

In addition to his estate planning and business practice, Alan is actively pursuing a Masters of Laws in Taxation from Boston University School of Law to further develop his expertise.
